Fee Relief! FAQ’s

Q. How does Fee Relief! work?

A. Fee Relief! is a simple four-step process. Go to Fee Relief! page and:

Step 1. Enter your personal information.
Step 2. Enter the information written on your Pennsylvania traffic citation.
Step 3. Let us know about your past driving record.
Step 4. Tell us what you’re willing to pay for legal defense . . . then press submit!

Once we have your information, we will gauge the complexity of your case and check for case and scheduling conflicts. We will get back to you by the next business day to let you know if we can represent you for that fee. If everything checks out, you have an attorney at the price you want!

Q. I’d like to participate in FeeRelief!, but I want to talk with Attorney Goldberg first. Can I call instead of completing the information on line?

A. Absolutely. Call us at 412.926.8898.

Q. I don’t know how much I should put down for the fee that I am willing to pay.

A. In selecting a fee consider: how concerned are you over the ticket? Some tickets (such as school zone violations) could carry up to as many as 6 Pennsylvania Driver’s License Points, or more. For more serious citations, you may want to bid a higher fee. For less serious offenses, propose a lower fee. Remember, FeeRelief! applies to all citations, regardless of seriousness. Attorney Joshua Goldberg regularly represents clients for a variety of moving violations.

Q. Can I use Fee Relief! for other criminal cases or DUI cases?

A. Goldberg Legal Services represents clients in any kind of DUI or criminal charge. However, Fee Relief! can not be used for DUI or criminal cases because they are more complex. Instead, Goldberg Legal Services will charge you a reasonable fee. Remember, all initial consultations are free, so call us about your DUI or criminal charge today.

Q. Once I complete the Fee Relief! information on the website, do I have an attorney?

A. Not just yet. We must arrange for payment of the fee and also sign a Retainer Agreement. A Retainer Agreement protects both attorney and client, and is the cornerstone of all attorney-client relationships.

Q. I was found guilty before a magistrate and I want to file an appeal. Does FeeRelief! apply to summary appeals?

A. Yes, FeeRelief! applies to summary appeal cases. We can file the appeal on your behalf, or simply represent you for the summary appeal hearing. But, be careful, you only have 30 days to file your appeal. As a reminder, legal representation does not begin until we have received a signed Retainer Agreement from you.
