The 2010–2011 Edition: Now including Defenses and Substitute Offenses
You’ve spoken, and we’ve listened. We’ve incorporated the top three customer-recommended improvements for the chart. The 2010 – 2011 Edition features: enhanced readability, Defenses, and Substitute Offenses. Here are the details:
1) We’ve increased the font size and changed the color scheme in the Points Section of the chart. It’s now even easier to find points associated with an offense.
2) The Suspension Section now has a vertical layout. This makes it even easier to find violations, and saves space.
3) Defenses: The 2010 – 2011 Edition includes a new section on motor vehicle defenses (inner jacket of the chart). We’ve included over 12 of the most utilized defenses in the Pennsylvania vehicle code. Improper placement of signs, equipment calibration, and limitation of actions are a few examples of the defenses contained in the new edition. And, all defenses in the chart cite the Pennsylvania vehicle code, so you can delve deeper if you need to.
4) Substitute Offenses: Motorists are critically concerned with Points. We’ve identified and listed motor vehicle violations that can be substituted for offenses that carry points. Located in the inner jacket of the chart, the Substitute Offenses Section includes 7 of the most common non-point and non-suspension offenses. Whether you’re a kind-hearted prosecutor, or a defense attorney in need of a fall back position, this section is for you.
